Speaker's biography

Liz is the Director and founder of Ribit.net, an online matching platform which connects university students with STEM, digital & research skills to innovative startups and businesses that need these skills. Ribit launched in beta in 2016. In 12 months it’s grown to over 10,000 students and 1000 innovative businesses. Ribit’s purpose is to enable students and businesses to find each other, quickly, easily and simply. It’s goal is to improve connections across the innovation ecosystem between universities, research and industry.

Liz works with a small but great team out of Data61, CSIRO. When not match-making, she helps out as a startup mentor and advisory board member to Startup Catalyst and the China Australia Millennial Project, and a co-track-leader with the Sydney Spark Startup Festival.
